AIT for Depression
Berard method AIT is one of the few programs that is helpful for the treatment of depression. AIT has been shown to help normalize the way the brain processes information. Once there is less sensory overload, we often see improvements in mood, behaviors and the ability to handle difficult social situations. Dr. Berard found that certain depressions correspond to certain patterns of hearing and when these are normalized, the depression diminishes or clears up. One study found that there was a normalization of serotonin levels after AIT which can also positively affect mood.
AIT uses filtered and modulated music to help stimulate the audiological and neurological systems. Since AIT uses sound, which is vibrational, going into the areas of the brain where all the different glands and organs are that control different senses and systems of the body.
""I tried everything: medication, meditation, vitamins, supplements, psychotherapy and just about everything else. Many things helped a little but my depression never went away. Finally I tried the AIT and within 2 months I was feeling so good I was able to come off the Prozac medication I had been on. My wife says I am easier to be around. I find that I am able to keep my energy going enough to finish projects that before would take forever to get done. Oh, and my migraines are gone too!"
